WSU General Education Program

Effective Fall 2011, new entering freshman will follow the General Education Program (GEP). This program mirrors the MnTC Curriculum and consists of the following requirements:

Students who began their studies at WSU prior to fall semester 2011 may choose to remain under the current WSU University Studies curriculum or move to the new WSU General Education Program. Students who begin their studies at WSU in fall 2011 or after must use the new WSU General Education Program, with the exception of transfer students and adult entry students. Transfer students and adult entry students who begin their studies at WSU in fall 2011 were sent DARS with the University Studies program. These students can remain under University Studies or choose to move to the new WSU General Education Program.
