Welcome to the 6th Annual Judith Ramaley Celebration of

Student-Faculty Research and Creative Scholarship

As we enter the sixth year for the Celebration of Research and Creative Scholarship, the name of this event changes to recognize Dr. Judith Ramaley, the 14th president of Winona State University. President Ramaley has been an ardent advocate for undergraduate education, particularly in the area of research and creative scholarship.  We are grateful for the support she has offered the Celebration as it has grown and changed through her tenure.

The purpose of this event remains as an opportunity to recognize the efforts of the students and faculty mentors who use scholarly and creative inquiry as an integral part of the educational experience at WSU.  The diversity of presentations demonstrates the value placed on research and creative inquiry by the entire WSU community.

The Celebration Organizing Committee is grateful for the tremendous support provided by Facilities Services for the setup and breakdown of the poster session.  We also thank Stephanie Smidt and the Student Union staff for all of their help with logistics in Kryzsko Commons. Both Tom Hill in Teaching, Learning, and Technology Services and Adam Gelle in Development & Web Support Services provided technical assistance. Financial support was provided by the Office of Academic Affairs.

Examine the work of our students from all disciplines and help us acknowledge and celebrate their efforts from the past year!

Sincerely,

The Celebration Organizing Committee:
