Our program is a non-degree program that provides the requirements for admission to the four-year Doctorate of Pharmacy programs offered at most pharmacy colleges in the U.S. The program can be completed in two years if desired and is especially tailored toward the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Colleges of Pharmacy. Pre-Pharmacy students at Winona State generally declare a major in biochemistry because the first two years of the Biochemistry Program match those of pre-pharmacy closely.

• The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy now recommends that all prospective students to be on track to obtain a bachelor's degree before entering our Pharm.D. program. In the past two years, 75% of admitted students obtained a bachelor's degree prior to matriculation. Only 2% were admitted after completing our prerequisites in two years." Please follow this link for more information. The deadline for application materials for UW-Madison is December 1, 2007! Late application materials will not be accepted or reviewed.
