Chi Sigma Iota

"CHI SIGMA IOTA" is the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International. As such, members are committed to maintaining high standards of professional competence and service.

Our goal is to serve others to the best of our ability and to encourage others to do the same as members of the counseling profession. Members of the Society have distinguished themselves through scholarship and professional excellence, which is exemplary. The WSU Counselor Education chapter, Rho Sigma Upsilon, is active with over 50 members in Rochester and Winona. Students with a 3.5 GPA and 12 credits are invited to join by visiting the†CSI website and pay online with a credit card. Dr. Roni Johnson, faculty advisor, will be notified of a studentís membership and will add new membersí name and e-mail address to the listserve. New members will be notified of meetings, current projects, and fund-raisers. Monies earned from fundraisers are dispensed according to goals set by the officers. New CE students are welcome to attend meetings and become involved in activities prior to officially joining CSI at the national level.
