Group Visits

Due to COVID-19 health concerns, group visits are currently being done virtually. But it's still possible to give your group a meaningful look into what Winona State can do for them by following these simple steps:

To give students on overview of Winona State University, a standard virtual group visit includes:

  • Admissions Presentation: 30 minutes
  • Campus Tour: 30 minutes
Your group might also opt to include additional experiences such as:
  • Inclusion and Diversity Guest Speakers: 15 minutes
  • TRIO Guest Speaker: 15 minutes

Let's Get Started

1

Plan Your Visit

Group visits can be scheduled between 9am-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You must reserve your group visit at least three weeks advance.

Please note that group visits at Winona State can be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please have a first-choice date and a secondary date in mind.

2

Submit Online Request Form

Complete the Group Visit Request Form to reserve your space.

Please include any special requests for campus experiences that are not part of the standard visit program in your request form.

3

Receive & Review Confirmation Information

Watch for a confirmation email that your group visit has been approved and scheduled.

This email will include a recap of your visit details and parking information.

Contact the Admissions Office at admissions@winona.edu or 507.457.5100 if you have any questions.

4

Prepare for Your Group Visit

Please have your group ready at the agreed upon start time. Groups that are delayed more than 15 minutes are not guaranteed their full agenda.

Encourage students to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. We give tours in rain, snow and shine.

Prep your group for their visit by asking them to prepare questions they may want to ask or inquire about topics they would like to learn more about.

5

Arrive For Your Group Visit

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reserved Group Visit time.

If your group is running late, please contact the admissions office at 507.457.5100.

Groups arriving more than 15 minutes late are not guaranteed their full agenda.

6

Enjoy Yourselves

Have fun and be ready to learn why we are proud to be Warriors!

Please remind the students of the importance of being quiet in the academic buildings to respect the learning environment of our students, faculty and staff.

All programs include an admissions presentation and campus tour with a housing snap shot.

The standard program gives the students an overview of Winona State University.
