Catch a Bus


The WSU Shuttle is a free service for WSU students to get between Main Campus and East Lake Apartments.

Students are also able to ride the Winona Transit bus around city-wide routes at no cost.

Use a Bike


Take advantage of the bike paths and trails around Winona.

Many students bring their bikes, and WSU offers free bike repair stations across campus and Lucas Hall basement so you can keep your wheels in great condition.

If you don't have a bike, the WSU Purple Bike Program has you covered. Reserve a bike for a day at no cost, or opt for the long-term rental at low fee.

Take a Walk


WSU Main Campus is located in the center of Winona.

Within 15 minutes, you can walk to banks, a grocery store, a movie theater and to shops, restaurants and coffeeshops downtown.

The two lake parks are just blocks away from main campus as well.

Get a Ride


Join the Wazoo's List Facebook group and ask fellow Warriors to car-pool on the commute to campus, errands or road-trips home over break.

You can also call a cab if you prefer. Lyft, Yellow Cab and Economy Cab all operate in the Winona area.
