New Employee Resources
The Human Resources Office would like to congratulate you on your appointment with Winona State University. We’re glad you’re here! Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the important information below.
Prior to Your First Day
New hires will receive a welcome email from Winona State University Human Resources. New hires will also receive an email from Minnesota State containing a secure link to create an online profile where personal information will be entered for the payroll system. You must complete the online profile prior to your first day in order to have access when you start.
On Your First Day
Go to Human Resources, Somsen 114, to complete and sign your I-9 Employment Verification form. You will also be required to provide document(s) to prove your eligibility for employment in the U.S. Only genuine, original, unexpired documents from the List of Acceptable Documents can be accepted.
Note: If your employment is on the Rochester campus, go to Student Services 128 to complete the form. If you are hired to work at a remote location within the U.S. and you are not able to physically come to campus please contact Human Resources at 507.457.5005.
