Recent data shows that approximately one out of 2 adults in this country struggles with loneliness. Changing social activities in the transition to retirement may especially bring new challenges to maintain and develop relationships. In this presentation, we’ll consider strategies to foster healthy social connections to promote quality of life in retirement.

Her main area of scholarly interest includes quality of life in aging. Given this interest, she teaches undergraduate-level courses such as Health Psychology and Adult Development & Aging.
