Assessment Day

Assessment Day is a campus-wide opportunity to gather information on how well the University is doing in meeting our mission to create a community of learners improving our world.

What is Assessment Day?

Assessment Day supports the campus-wide efforts to improve curricular and co-curricular programs as well as student services. This improvement helps students successfully complete their academic endeavors.

WSU Faculty Senate established Assessment Day in Spring1998. On Assessment Day, all classes scheduled before 3:30 pm (except labs and classes that meet once per week) are canceled. Instead, students as well as the faculty and staff engage in various assessment activities.

Assessment Day Surveys for Students

View your personal surveys.

  • To take the surveys, go to the Current Students My WSU webpage and find the individualized Assessment Day Survey Invitation. This Assessment Day Survey Invitation will include links to several surveys. (Note that each student receives a different set of surveys.) Please complete all the surveys for you to become eligible for prizes! Most of the surveys take less than 5 minutes each to complete. The information gathered through these surveys will be used to improve students’ educational experiences at WSU.
  • View the participation prizes panel to see what you could win for being involved!
