On Oct. 17, Winona State University welcomes “Why We Act” author Catherine Sanderson to campus through the Common Book.

The Harvard University Press blurb raises the critical question the book seeks to answer: “Why do so few of us intervene when we’re needed—and what would it take to make us step up?”
