Earth Talks: Erosional History of the Upper Mississippi River

Join the Geoscience Department for a discussion as part of the Earth Talks Speaker Series.
In this talk, WSU Geoscience Professor Dylan Blumentritt will explore the history of Lake Pepin and how its unique geology can be used to study changes in sediment over time.
He’ll also discuss newer methods for measuring historical sediment movement and identifying where increasing amounts of sediment are coming from across the landscape.
