Earth Talks: Protecting the Upper Mississippi from Invasive Carp

Join the Geoscience Department for a discussion as part of the Earth Talks Speaker Series.
In this talk, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will discuss their on-going project to stop the spread of invasive carp at a lock and dam on the Mississippi River.
They’ll also explain how new tools and cross-agency teamwork are helping manage this invasive species, along with the challenges and steps that lie ahead.
