“History of Latinx Community Building in the Midwest” Keynote

This talk featuring Dr. Sergio Gonzalez—Assistant Professor of History at Marquette University—will explore themes of resilience, identity, belonging, and community-building in Latinx communities across the Midwest.
He’ll also discuss how Latinx histories shape the present and future, highlighting traditions of collective organizing and civic engagement.
This event is open to Winona State students, faculty, and staff, as well as community members.
