Lamprey Demonstration with Nick Schloesser
November 5 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Nick Schloesser, a fish biologist from the United States Geological Survey (USGS), will have a live adult lamprey on hand and tell us a bit more about how the USGS and Great Lake Fishery Commission are controlling this alien-looking, invasive species.
This event is free and is inspired by this year’s Common Book, “The Death and Life of the Great Lakes,” by Dan Egan.
