Sexual Assault Awareness Month Talk with Danielle Leukam

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we will be hosting a presentation on April 16 led by Danielle Leukam about her personal experience surviving an attack in her home.
This event will be presented by the the WSU Sexual Violence Advisory Committee and the Winona County Sexual Assault Interagency Council.
About the Speaker
Danielle Leukam is the author of two memoirs: “Four Pounds of Pressure: A Memoir of Rape, Survival, and Taking Back My Power” and “Another Four Pounds of Pressure: Case Files Statements & a Survivor’s Redemption.”
Danielle is from the Rochester, MN area and works full-time at her local clinic. She is passionate about advocating against sexual violence through public speaking and writing. Danielle has taken back her power and strives to empower others to do the same.
