Winona State Hackathon
February 28 @ 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Join us for a one-day innovation challenge where individual students or teams (up to 5 members) will develop projects inspired by one of the following themes:
- Artificial Intelligence and Me
- Digital Resistance
- Data Poisoning
- Ecosystem of the Web
The judging rubric will be provided on the day of the Hackathon. We encourage interdisciplinary teams and research, but no development is allowed before the event begins.
The first-place winner(s) will receive a $50 Amazon gift card per participant (individual or team member), and the second-place winner(s) will receive a $30 Amazon gift card per participant.
Schedule
- 8:30am – Check-in and breakfast (provided)
- 9am – Hackathon begins
- 12pm – Lunch (provided)
- 3pm – Project presentations
- 4pm – Judging
- 5pm – Awards
This event is sponsored by the WSU Computer Science Club and Women in Computing and STEM (WiCS).
Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
