We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Dawn Quigley, acclaimed author and educator, to campus on Oct. 21.
Dr. Quigley, a citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe, will discuss her work that centers on the importance of Indigenous voices in children’s literature. Her work also highlights the power of stories to shape identity, belonging, and education.
We also invite you to attend a book signing of Dr. Quigley’s work following the talk. Copies of her books will be available for purchase at 6:30pm.
