Family Weekend
Join us for Family Weekend on Sept. 19-21, 2025!
Family Weekend is a great time to hang out with your family and have fun around town with events at WSU and in Winona.
Many events are free, while some require tickets or other entry fees.

Friday
Jack Kane Dining Hall | 4:30-7pm
Students can use their Dining Dollars for their family members.
Otherwise, dinner costs $12.14 per person.
Levee Park | 6pm
Tickets are required.
Enjoy a beautiful 60-minute scenic cruise down the Mississippi River aboard WSU’s Cal Fremling.
Water and snacks will be provided. Main cabin has heating and cooling capabilities.
Kryzsko Ballroom | 7pm
Enjoy a classic Winona State night of bingo. We’ll host games until we’ve distributed all prizes.
You can also roast a s’more at the Kryzsko Commons Fire Feature Patio.
Saturday
Levee Park | 9am, 10:30am, 12pm, 4:30pm, 6pm
Tickets are required.
Enjoy a beautiful 60-minute scenic cruise down the Mississippi River aboard WSU’s Cal Fremling.
Water and snacks will be provided. Main cabin has heating and cooling capabilities.
Kryzsko Ballroom | 9:30am
Tickets are required.
Each registration for WSU Family Weekend includes brunch, a University welcome, and a photo booth with a branded magnet frame.
Kryzsko Ballroom | 11am
Tickets are required.
Join the Raptor Center for an informative and exciting raptor presentation.
Learn more about these impressive birds and get an up close look at what they can do.
Johnson St. | 11am-1pm
You can participate in Warrior Gameday Experience without registering for Family Weekend registration or buying football tickets.
Sunday
Levee Park | 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm, and 4pm

Stop by the WSU Bookstore to get your WSU gear and show your Warrior Pride.
The WSU Bookstore is located in the lower level of Kryzsko Commons and will be open on Friday and Saturday of Family Weekend.

Minnesota Marine Art Museum

All within 30 minutes of Winona, these spots are totally worth the scenic drive. You can see live eagles up close and personal or have some of the best apples around.
The National Eagle Center is a world-class interpretive center in Wabasha.
It’s home to 6 rescued eagles, which you can see up close during one of the live eagle programs offered every day at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
Embrace autumn by visiting a local apple orchard.
Enjoy live music, food trucks, and (hay) train rides at Ecker’s Apple Farm near Trempealeau, WI.
Or challenge your friends to lawn game tournaments and get lost (and found) in the giant corn maze at Ferguson’s Orchards in Galesville, WI.
