Final examinations for the Spring 2026 term will be held May 4-7.
May 8-13 is faculty's grading period for Spring 2026 classes.
May 9 is the beginning of Summer 2026 classes.
May 9 is the beginning of the May Session.
May 15 is the last day when students can drop full Summer 2026 term classes only, or courses that run May-August, on Student eServices and receive a 100% tuition refund.
No classes will be held and offices will be closed on May 25 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
May 26 is the last day when faculty can apply for arranged courses or independent studies for the Summer 2026 term.
June 1 is the end of the May Session.
June 2 is the beginning of the June Session.
June 4 is the last day when students can add June Session 2026 classes on Student eServices without instructor approval. Registration overrides are required for this to occur after June 4.
No classes will be held and offices will be closed on June 19 due to the Juneteenth holiday.
July 2 is the end of the June Session.
No classes will be held and offices will be closed on July 3 due to the Independence Day holiday.
July 6 is the beginning of the July Session.
July 8 is the last day when students can add July Session 2026 classes on Student eServices without instructor approval. Registration overrides are required for this to occur after July 8.
July 10 is the last day when students must notify the School of Graduate Studies of their intent to take comprehensive examinations during the Fall 2026 term.
Aug. 5 is the end of the July Session.
Aug. 11 is State Primary Election Day. No university activities will be scheduled between 6-8pm.
Classes for the Fall 2026 term begin on Aug. 24.

University Improvement Day is Oct. 6. This date is also a Non-Class Faculty Duty Day.
