Business Learning Outcomes

These outcomes describe what Winona State students will know and be able to do as future business professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, and organizational leaders.

Winona State’s College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The College uses the following learning outcomes across all its programs.

Each outcome is assessed in at least one course in at least one program. Each course also has appropriate student learning outcomes.

AACSB conducts an onsite peer review once every 6 years to ensure that these outcomes are assessed properly and to provide suggestions for improving this process.

College-Wide Learning Outcomes

Upon graduation, all College of Business students will:

  • communicate clearly and effectively.
  • have creative problem-solving skills.
  • work collaboratively.
  • incorporate multiple perspectives and make responsible decisions.
  • have the ability to understand and apply current business practices.
