Ryan White is a Professor in Winona State’s Marketing Department. He is also the Marketing Department Chair and the Director of the Strauss Center for Sales Excellence.

Research Interests
Ryan’s research examines the complete service system spanning from employees through customer evaluations and firm performance.
By leveraging theories of social exchange, governance, and social influence, his research focuses on explaining the dynamics of the customer experience and the subsequent impact on customer relationships.
Specific research efforts focus on explaining breakdowns in the satisfaction–loyalty relationship, managing the behavior and measuring the impact of boundary spanning employees, and examining the effects of alternative/novel sources of word-of-mouth on service purchase intentions.
