Individualized Studies Options
Students can pursue an Individualized Studies bachelor’s degree or a minor.
All Individualized Studies majors and minors are required to complete INDS 300: Academic Planning & Career Foundations. It is recommended that students take this course during their first semester as an Individualized Studies student.
Additionally, all Individualized Studies majors are required to complete INDS 495: Capstone Seminar.

Majors
There are 2 bachelor’s degrees available in Individualized Studies.
This option is best for students who want to design their own degree for their academic interests and professional goals.
This program is also meant for students who want to tailor their education to build on their previous work experience.
You can choose from 2 Bachelor of Arts:
This option is ideal for students who want to earn a unique bachelor’s degree after completing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS).
This BAS program is 49 credits.

Dual Majors
If a student is completing a dual major with Individualized Studies, no more than 12 credits may be duplicated between the majors.
Dual Degrees
Students wishing to complete two degrees at the same time, such as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science, must complete a minimum of an additional 30 semester hours more than the required 120-128 credit hours.
Students must also complete all major requirements under both degrees, including separate minors if necessary.
