Co-Curricular Transcripts

At WSU, we believe that learning can happen anywhere – not just in the classroom. That’s why we offer Co-Curricular transcripts (CCT).

Request your Co-Curricular Transcript

Just like your academic transcript tracks the courses you’ve taken, your co-curricular transcript is an official record of the extra steps you’ve taken to build your skills.

You can include your co-curricular transcript with your application materials to employers, graduate schools, scholarship committees and more. This can help showcase your leadership experience and give you a competitive edge.

The CCT categories cover a variety of skills and experiences you’ll need in your career and personal life. Pick one area that interests you the most or pursue them all!

Digital Citizenship
Understanding how to evaluate information and use technology is essential in almost every career.

Through Digital Citizenship events, you’ll learn how to:

  • use technology to find information quickly and effectively.
  • assess whether the information is accurate, trustworthy, relevant, and more.
  • apply technology skills in your daily and professional life.

You’ll also analyze the economic, legal, social, and ethical issues around the use of information and technology.

Civic Engagement
Civic engagement simply means getting involved in your community and working with others to make a difference.

The Civic Engagement activities at WSU take a broad approach building communication skills and solving social problems together.

You’ll learn how to collaborate with others to tackle social, personal, or ethical dilemmas.

In the end, you’ll know how to construct a strong argument, tell a compelling narrative, and provide a clear explanation. You’ll also be able to tailor your messages to general and specific audiences.

Leadership Development
Being a good leader isn’t based on raw talent. In fact, everyone can develop leadership skills.

Obviously, you need leadership skills if you want to be a manager, director, or CEO for a company.

But if that’s not your career path, you can still be a leader for your co-workers and in your community.

Through Leadership Development at WSU, you’ll learn how to:

  • explore complex issues and form a position.
  • consider multiple perspectives when evaluating issues.
  • present relevant solutions to address problems.
Intercultural Competency
The world—and workplace— has become a global community. This means that you’ll work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, so you need to be mindful of those differences in your interactions.

Build your Intercultural Competencies to:

  • recognize how your actions impact others.
  • collaborate with people in communities whether they are similar or different from you.
  • commit to building inclusive community partnerships.
  • connect and share knowledge with others that benefits the greater community.

Research & Creative Achievement
There are many opportunities for students to participate in or directly engage with research and creative project methods, materials, and supporting resources.

Through Research & Creative Achievement, you’ll learn how to:

  • use scholarly or creative resources within a discipline and explore the cycle in which research and information is published.
  • use basic methods and tools for research and/or creative achievement.
  • apply subject discipline expectations for professional presentations, performances, or exhibitions.
  • present research or give a performance/exhibition at a professional conference or event.
