Communication Studies Club Advisor
M.S. Communication Studies and Journalism, South Dakota State University (2004)
B.A. Communication Studies and Theatre, South Dakota State University (2002)
I joined the faculty at Winona State University in fall 2012. Professional opportunities led me from graduate school in South Dakota to Wyoming where I was a debate coach and communication instructor before coming to Winona State University. In my spare time I enjoy doing most things outdoor such as hiking, golfing, skiing and gardening.
My desire as an instructor is to engage, challenge, and inspire growth in my students. It is my goal to share the excitement that comes along with improving communication skills to create competence and understanding amongst my students. My graduate work focused on small group communication and I also have a passion for persuasion and advocacy.
