Math Course Placement
At Winona State, math course placement depends on your major and your test scores.
If you do not meet the placement criteria for MATH 112, 115, or 117, you will have to take MATH 050 to develop the skills you’ll need for college-level math courses.
Students with previously earned credit in college math may enroll in the next appropriate course regardless of ACT or test scores.
Talk to an advisor to make sure you are taking the course that’s best for you.
