Pre-Law Professional Pathway
Interested in law school? First, you’ll need to complete a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent before beginning law school.
It is suggested that interested students follow a program that provides in-depth study in areas that promote critical thinking and written and oral communication skills.
Many Pre-Law students major in English, History, Legal Studies, Political Science and Public Administration, or Economics. Other majors in our department also provide an excellent background for law school.
Before deciding to pursue a legal career, interested students are encouraged to contact Pre-Law advisor Dr. Gregory Richard to get information about majors, minors, grade point averages, internship and volunteer activities, law school admission tests, personal statements, and law schools in the US.
