Student Opportunities

The Mass Communication department has much to offer beyond its challenging courses.

Plenty of opportunities exist for you to get involved in extracurriculars through internships, clubs, a travel program, and more!

Advertising and Public Relations majors get intensive hands-on experience creating and pitching a marketing campaign for a real-world client through Campaigns.

This is a capstone course reserved for students to complete during their final semester.

Looking for jobs can be intimidating.

That’s why the Mass Communication Department requires all students, regardless of their major, to complete an internship of their choice.

By doing so, students also gain industry experience and expand their network before graduation.

A variety of scholarships are available each year through the WSU Foundation.
