Communication & Media Student Opportunities

There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in Communication & Media extracurriculars through internshipsstudy abroad programsclubs, and more.

Internships

With an internship, you’ll gain valuable industry experience and expand your network before graduation.

The best part: You can get credit for your internship that counts toward your degree.

Our students have interned at a wide range of communication and media organizations.

Some students interned outside of Minnesota—like NBC News in Chicago and a sports entertainment company based in Colorado—and even outside the country—like a TV station in Cario, Egypt.
