Communication & Media Programs
The Communication & Media Department offers several undergraduate programs and a graduate program.
No matter your program, you’ll learn how to communicate with diverse audiences in a variety of settings using an array of media: websites, social media, podcasts and radio, TV, photography, print materials, and beyond.
We also prepare students to take advantage of future careers that may not even exist yet in the communication world.
Undergraduate Programs
You can choose from 6 majors and earn a Bachelor of Arts.
These majors work well with nearly any minor or an additional major. This flexibility allows you to tailor your education based on your personal interests and professional goals.

3+2 Program
Fast-track your future by earning your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in just 5 years.
You’ll begin by enrolling in a comprehensive major that covers advertising, creative digital media, and public relations—rather than taking classes from just one of those topics.
At the end of your third year, you’ll apply to the Strategic Communication master’s degree program. If accepted, you’ll start graduate classes during your fourth year.
This accelerated program prepares you to think creatively and strategically in today’s fast-moving media world, helping you save time and money along the way.

Graduate Program
Take your communication skills to the next level with advanced digital strategy and leadership training.
The Strategic Communication master’s degree will prepare you to lead omnichannel campaigns, analyze data, and make smart branding decisions for an organization.
This Master of Arts is completely online, and you can complete it in as little as 2 years.
