Undergraduate Programs
Athletic Training
Focus your passion for sports into a career as an athletic trainer.

Help people with chronic conditions by providing rehabilitation in clinical or hospital settings.

Exercise Science
Design and administer exercise programs to meet clients’ goals, needs, and abilities as a health fitness instructor or certified personal trainer.

Program Plans
Movement Science
Promote healthy movement and physical activity in clients within a wide variety of medical and rehabilitative science fields as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, physician’s assistant, or kinesiologist.

Public Health
Understanding how physical, social, and economic environments affect people’s health will prepare you for a career in a health-related area or graduate school.
In the Community Health major, you’ll learn about the health issues that affect communities and how to be an effective community health educator.
This degree may be a good fit for you if you value diversity, are creative, and are inspired by helping others.
In the Epidemiology major, you’ll learn about detecting disease outbreaks and how to prevent and control the spread of disease.
With this degree, you will use science, math and statistics to come to logical, evidence-based conclusions.
In the Health Administration major, you’ll learn how to be a leader in the healthcare industry and how to manage hospitals and clinics.

In the Nutrition major, you’ll learn how to design food and nutrition programs that reduce disease risk.

Teach students in grades 5–12 how to make decisions about their health and live healthy lifestyles.

Minors
Learn the basics, history, and modern practice of public health.
This minor complements many majors, including those in the fields of business, English, law, nursing, medicine, and more.
With this minor, you’ll be prepared to educate a diverse audience on nutrition principles, dietary methods, and current nutrition topics and issues.
This minor will prepare you for work in a community, school, company, or research setting.
Master’s Programs & Pathways
Athletic Training
The Athletic Training master’s program prepares students to become highly competent, certified athletic trainers.
There are two ways to receive your MSAT:
- the 5-year Athletic Training program (3+2, BS and MSAT)
- the 2-year MSAT program
Mental Health Education
Raise awareness, reduce the stigma, and learn front-line skills to address mental health issues within your school, workplace, and community.

Use the latest technology and interpret data to help individual athletes and entire sports teams optimize their performance.
