Visiting and Guest Students
If you are not a Winona State student but wish to take some online courses through WSU as a Visiting Student, we welcome you!
For students who are currently enrolled at another Minnesota State school, registering for WSU courses can be done right through your home school’s eServices portal, just change your College/University to Winona State University.
Use these tips for filtering your course search to find the options that will be best for your needs.
If you are not currently at another Minnesota State school, you will need to complete a Guest Student Agreement form to register for your course(s).
Please note that a maximum of 6 credits can be taken as a guest student each semester and should you decide to pursue a degree at WSU, only 12 credits taken as a visiting student can count toward your degree requirements.

Individuals looking to take courses without the intention of pursuing a degree will need to complete a Guest Student Agreement form (PDF).
